Sunrise on the hills
Sees a girl doing yoga.
I ride past, smiling.
One day I’ll manage an epic poem about my tyre choice but I need to work up to that one!
For the curious, you can read about the Japanese Haiku form on Wikipedia!

The falling flower
I saw drift back to the branch
was a butterfly.
Translation by kc
The falling mole
I saw drift back to the peleton
was a bonking mess
OK, OK I know it doesn’t have the simple beauty of the original! Best get back to the day job!

The bike trail steepens,
