There’s something about Mary

On-One Mary bars
Mary has a funny sort of sweep about her.

You know where you are with standard bars, you know what to expect and you know what you are likely to get but with Mary it’s different. It could be that being born ‘up ‘t north’ the fresh air and beauty has turned her head, or it could just be that Brant fell off once too often.

I refer to On-One Mary bars. This is a mini review based on the comments of my fairer half as they are fitted to her bike in order to try and get a more comfortable riding position. My choice seems to have worked, albeit on the 2nd go as the first set of 2.5″ risers helped but not as much as fitting the Marys.

The Marys have a 40 degree sweep instead of the more normal 5-8 degrees and as the great man says, this does seem to be more natural for the wrists. Cathie confirms she has less pain after riding with Mary. They do take a little getting used to but I’ll take the steed out for a thrash myself one day and let you have a ‘man’s’ opinion.

For £35 why not give ’em a go!
